They will develop their academic skills using a variety of engaging activities and games. Have them show you the sites and what they are doing. Story Town/Think Central-Use this site to access activities that go along with the stories that you are reading in class.
Kids Click-Search engine for kids developed by librarians. Allows children to search for their favorite topics in an easy and safe way.
Time for Kids-This website has a number of different activities for kids to use along with the magazines they have in class.
Surf Net for Kids-This website offers resources for students, parents, and teachers that can be used to learn about new websites. The website offers reviews of other websites.

Fun Brain -This is a terrific site with lots of resources for children to play games in Reading, Math, or other topics.
PBS Kids-This site is for pre-school and kindergarten students that are beginning to play educational games. It has a number of different educational games involving their favorite PBS characters.
Starfall-Great site for pre-school/kindergarten/early elementary school children who are learning to read. Lots of fun games and activities that the children will love.
Primary Games-A fun site organized by topic of interest for students, parents, and teachers. Includes activities for all ages on different topics.
Read, Write, Think-This site offers resources for both students and teachers. The site is organized in a manner that allows teachers to sort through lessons and activities according to grade level or strand. Students can use it to access various websites for games and other resources.
Funschool-Fun and interactive website to engage children in learning. Offers activities for children ages pre-school through 6th grade.
Scholastic-Allows children to play games and read some of their favorite books. Additionally, it offers links for parents to purchase books for their children.
Game Goo-An educational game/reading site aligned with the games and activities from the Earobics program. This site has wonderful activities for younger students beginning to read.
Readquarium-This site provides links to other reading websites for students, parents, and teachers.
